We are so delighted to present academic work from our 2019 graduating Design students. The work demonstrates the accumulation of skills, experience and creativity that our undergraduates have been amassing since they began their studies 3 years ago. Their enthusiasm and devotion to learning about design and its many applications has resulted in imaginative and cutting-edge ideas, provocations and interventions.
The work seen in the Degree Show represents students’ efforts in the BA Design and BA Marketing and Design courses, particularly in our two studio modules – Contexts and Things. The students also are showcasing their work from previous design modules that embody outstanding efforts in design.
We are currently ranked 3rd in the UK for Art and Design in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018. With our £1.8m investment in purpose-built design studios and our excellent teaching and research culture (TEF Gold and Top 10 in REF), we continue to be design leaders in higher education in the UK.
