My time at Lancaster University has exceeded my expectations. For the three years that I have
studied here, I have learnt that there is no time like the present to study film. Not only have I gained
a richer understanding of the creative industries, I have developed my theoretical knowledge
in the process. Alongside my studies, I have also had the opportunity to advance my practical
skills. I have recently travelled to Germany to participate in a summer school for documentary
filmmaking. Additionally, I have also had the privilege of working on two occasions with the BBC
as a production runner. My plans after graduation are to complete an MA in Media and Cultural
Studies in the hope of pursuing a career in the academic field or working within television.
