My work is based around the exploration of what we consider to be an archive space. Archives are often considered to be fixed control environments that exist in a cold preserved state. However, most archives are ever changing spaces, subject to influence from different cultures, perceptions and languages creating a constantly shifting form that alters the way in which we perceive

the works it contains. Through my work I hope to explore the way in which archives are broken down, reformed and reimagined creating a space in which the viewer can explore my personal reimagining of the archive space, while also offering them the option to interact with different elements of the installation. This interactive element, combined with the immersive nature of the installation is designed to continue the process of change and development within the space as each person’s actions within the space will

alter the next person’s perceptions creating an ever evolving collection.
